Basic Charting Course

This course was designed by Staff Training for the Chart Distribution staff. It was a three and one-half day course with no exam. Participating staff were issued a certificate of attendance.
Objectives of the course were to raise the individuals chart consciousness together with how they fit into the CHS organization and enable them to deal with chart users in a more knowledgeable way when faced with questions on chart matters.
As Chart Distribution could not be completely closed down for that length of time the course was given twice. The first one, with nine attendees, from 4 – 7 Dec and the second, with seven attendees, from 11 – 14 Dec.
